Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies the website of BLEND Bar & Dinner uses, what they are for and how you can manage your consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site “remember” certain actions or preferences for a while. Similar technologies are local storage (localStorage) and session storage — they also store data in your browser, and in this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
This policy supplements the Privacy Policy and explains exactly what this site stores and how to manage your choice.
2. What we use on this site
The BLEND website is built to work with a minimum of cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and we do not build profiles of our visitors.
| What | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| blend-theme local storage, ours | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. | Until cleared in the browser |
| blend-consent local storage, ours | Stores your choice from the cookie bar so that we do not ask again on every visit. | Until cleared in the browser |
| Technical record for reservations on the server, ours | Keeps a fingerprint of your request for a few minutes to stop repeated and spam requests. | Up to 3 minutes |
| Google Maps third party, only with consent | Shows the map with the location of the restaurant. Google sets its own cookies (for example NID, CONSENT, SOCS) for preferences and security. | From a few months to 2 years, set by Google |
| Google Fonts third party | Loads the fonts of the site. It sets no cookies, but Google receives your IP address with the request. | — |
The entries in local storage stay in your browser only — they are not sent to us and we do not read them from the server.
3. Necessary and optional
Technically necessary are blend-theme, blend-consent and the protection of the reservation form. Without them the site cannot work correctly or cannot deliver a service you explicitly asked for, so they are used without consent (Art. 4b of the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act).
Optional is the content from Google Maps. It is loaded only after your consent — until you give it, you only see a button in place of the map.
4. How to change your choice
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time — the button below brings the choice bar back.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Please note that some features of the site may stop working.
6. Transfer of data outside the EU
Google Maps and Google Fonts are provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area under the terms of the Google Privacy Policy and the applicable standard contractual clauses.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or the legislation change. The current version is always on this page, and the date above shows the last change.
